scansioni clickate “Continua”. Le traduzioni in italiano e
inglese e il testo integrale in croato saranno aggiunti
successivamente.

Today, in Romania, is
election day [you can
read about it on BalkanInsight].

2 weeks ago another
article of mine has been published, for the same Croatian magazine Plan B, in the 14th issue. The title is “Advertising is a serius affair”, as is the
title of a book by Michele Rizzi [->ADCI] from 1987 which I cite in the text.
The theme is the campaign “Romania, piacere di conoscerti” and "Hola, soy Rumano", that is “Romania, nice to meet you” and
“Hi, I’m Romanian”, that has been initiated by the Romanian
government in September in Italy and Spain [contract info from dgMarket].

The aspects that I have
chosen to deal with are various. For a summary and the page
scans click “Continua”. The translations in Italian and English
as well as the full text in Croatian will be added later on.

  Danas su u Rumunjskoj izbori.

Prije dvije sedmice sam
kampanja “Romania, piacere di conoscerti i"Hola, soy Rumano",
tj.

razni. Za kratki sadrzaj i
skanirane stranice klika “Continua”.

governo italiano sull’immigrazione e l’integrazione ecc.

[EN] First of all, it is fundamental to try
to understand the role, in the augmentation of racist attitudes in
Italy that has been amongst the causes of the initiative, of the
politically instrumental use of the crime news section, the presence
of which has augmented and has also been concentrated
disproportionately on the crimes for which the accused were of
foreign origin, especially if foreign meant Romanian. This has
influenced the results of the Italian elections, and now there’s the
Romanian campaign which coincides, as well, with another
pre-electoral period. In the article, there’s also some talk of the
agencies which have realized the Romanian project, the
transformations of this new UE member, as described by the journalist
Miheale Iordache who has already written about this whole story
[read in Italian] for Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso, and
we include also hint on nation/place branding and
Simon Anholt, to
then note
another campaign, by the Italian government, on the subject
of immigration and integration.I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has helped me with this research and the article, it has been a great occasion to come to know better different individuals, projects and situations.

[HR] Kao prvo,

rumunjskog. To je utjecalo i na talijanske izbore, a i sama je
rumunska kampanja nepobitno pokrenuta u predizbornom periodu. U
imigracije i integracije.
