The big distributions
like the Three Wise Men – this is a scenario suggested by a stencil
which I’ve found on the streets of Split while I was running away
from the firecrackers as the ’08 turned into the ’09, and another
graffiti which reminds us of the shipyard privatization, around which
the European Union has been building a lot of pressure. The writing
suggests that “If the shipyards dissapear for us, Greece will come
for you.” For more info click

oko kojih Europska Unija radi velike pritiske. Natpis nagovjestava da
“Odu li nam skverovi, doci ce vam Grcka.”

Intanto ho

Big distributions
like the Three Wise Men – this is a scenario suggested by a stencil
which I’ve found on the streets of Split while I was running away
from the firecrackers as the ’08 turned into the ’09. The atmosphere
was nothing special, I add for the reasons which in Italian would be
summed up as “per la cronaca”, people say it was much more
cheerful a few years back. Many people, a lot of light pyrotechnics,
a concert (the media has been treating the tens of thousands of euros
paid to the pop stars for the evening for some time now and in
detail). In a way that graffiti has been the most interesting part of
my evening, partially because I’ve heared some jokes about one of
those chains being full of customers more due to vouchers then
anything else. And there’s some mention about an entrepreneur who
will apparently run for mayer. In the meantime I found another
graffiti which reminds us of the shipyard privatization, around which
the European Union has been building a lot of pressure. The writing
suggests that “If the shipyards dissapear for us, Greece will come
for you.” I must get better informed on the situation. An article,
in English, from the 7
th
of November 2008 can be found
here on BalkanInsight.com (I can’t
guarantee for the precision). What is at stake is the future of an
enormous number of workers, but they are also well organized and
making their voices heard so the question is still open.

bilo prije koju godinu. Mnogo ljudi, mnogo lagane pirotehnike, jedan
koncert (mediji se neko vrijeme temeljito bave brojenjem desetina
